A couple of me being sedentary. Recovering from an illness, and the best I can do I'm afraid...

Taken Saturday 19 November during the three week 'draw-off' of the Thames. It gives boat owners etc a window to fix moorings and do some maintenance. It gives other people a chance to nose around the river bed - and take photos of course. I have huge versions of these in case you wanted a big print or poster.
This is the bridge over to Eel Pie Island...
Boatyards on the island itself...

Here's a bunch from the weekend of the 24th/25th, some with a light touch, others more manipulated (or ruined, depending on your point of view). Some of the files are pretty big. All within York House Gardens.

Here is a new thing: Glastonbury 2011 Photo Project.2/5/2011
Here are a few that I've been pondering for a while. The moon shot goes back to the 'supermoon' event of 17/4 - the same day I shot Lizzie. The rest were taken over the last 11 days or so.
Here is a huge version of that.

A couple of weekends ago I took the ferry by impulse to Ham House. I can't remember ever going there, although maybe I did 20 or 30 years ago. I toured the gardens for £3.70. This is the back of the house during a quiet spell...
Next to the house is an Orangery and a great gift shop with all the good stuff that the National Trust sells (and a much bigger collection than Marble Hill House on the opposite side of the river). It seems they plan to grow their own food at the Orangery, the terrace overlooks the bedding...
(Bootnotes: 1; I've been playing around with HDR toning in Photoshop CS5. 2; These are big files - but here's a huge version of the second one.)

A few weeks ago I put out a friendly call for people to model for me. To my surprise I had some responses, and this is the first result. Here are seven photos (out of around 300) of Lizzie, taken on Saturday 19/3/2011 near (you guessed it) Twickenham Riverside...
If you live near Richmond I guess you'll have to photograph Arcadia, the only view in England protected by an act of Parliament. These were taken yesterday at sunset at the appointed place. There are a few other shots from the last couple of weeks. Anyway, seven studies of Arcadia...
And here's a slightly whacky one I was very tempted to leave out...
Taken over November and December. All in the vicinity of the Riverside. Some of the big versions are - well, big. Have a happy break everyone.
