Something quite sad about late summer, and it's been such a good one. I guess this is just about the last blast of flowers. Had to get a few more before the season ended. They were taken yesterday with a Canon 7D and a 60mm macro lens.
And then it's flowers all the way...
Grey days in West London. Taken today, Wednesday 8, or on Monday 6 September in and around working in York House. All on or near Twickenham Riverside.
Some of Marble Hill House:
The RAF war memorial at Runnymede:
York House. The election results are posted in the windows either side of the entrance:

Diana Fountain, Bushy Park:
Here's some taken yesterday (Saturday 30) along the river. They were with the 7D with a 18x135mm lens. It was very bright, but very cold. Clean air from the North Pole apparently.
Always tricky for me this one...
Here's the same cropped to 1024x768...
And a variation I kind of prefer...
Variation...
At 1024x768...
Crazy shading crop...
Some of Richmond Bridge and the Stables Gallery by the Twickenham riverside. A grey day.
Taken yesterday (Sunday morning) with the 7D and a 18x135mm. Some of these have just been resized - nothing else.
Here's some taken today with the 7D. The landscape shots were with a 60mm macro lens (also the pigeon in flight). The seagulls were shot with a 75x300mm and four slices of bread from the organic cafe down Church St. Out of interest, I took 747 photos in about three hours.
Here's one taken New Year's Day...
Here's a bunch of stuff taken yesterday (28 December) with the new 7D. This was with a 18x135mm lens.
Here's a couple taken on Christmas Day 2009 with the 20D...
And here are some old photos - favourites of mine. They were taken with a 8.2 megapixel Canon EOS 20D and a 5 megapixel Pentax Optio 550.
